Case Study: Outcomes for New Orleans Career Coaching Client
Client Background:

Attorney

Bachelor of Arts, Psychology and English (minor), Tulane University, Newcomb College

Scenario:
The client was an attorney with a 26-year tenure as a litigator at a large, national firm. She was interested in pivoting and securing a director-level program manager and teaching role at a university. Unlike many clients, she came to coaching with a clear idea of what she was interested in doing next. Her salary needs were clear as were the life-style parameters she defined to guide her decision-making.
Coaching Engagement:
The client started coaching sessions three months in advance of her desired pivot date. She was planning to resign from the firm at that point and wanted to be preparing for her job search. The first part of the coaching process was about both brand and confidence building. Having been an attorney for more than half of her life, this client needed to redefine her professional skills and impact. By doing this, we simultaneously built her confidence as she could now articulate her professional value to future employers.
